NCCA Events
A year-round calendar of business and cultural events — connecting and strengthening the Dutch–Australian business community.
These events are hosted by NCCA partner organisations — not the NCCA directly. Contact the organiser for tickets and enquiries.
Already Using It: AI in Your Work & Life
Join us on July 22 for an evening of practical insights, live demonstrations, and great conversations. Come and see what AI actually looks like when real people use it, at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
This event is hosted by Konica Minolta, a global organisation specialising in business and medical technology, and one of the world's oldest technology companies, founded in 1873. Special thanks to Michael Uwland, a longstanding NCCA member, for sponsoring this event.
Featured Speaker: Peter van Lunteren
Most AI conversations these days are about the workplace, productivity tools, automation, ChatGPT.
Peter van Lunteren, Founder of Addax Data Science, is going to take us somewhere most AI conversations never go, out of the office and into the wild! He will be sharing how AI is being used to help protect wildlife right here in Australia.
He is a Dutch ecologist who once backpacked through Australia, and now uses AI to help protect its wildlife. The event showcases a rare combination, AI in a traditional work setting, and AI out in the wild, and it's exactly the kind of contrast that makes this evening different.
How the evening runs
Peers, not promoters: All speakers are drawn from within the NCCA community. The insights shared come from professional peers navigating the same landscape, not from vendors with something to sell.
One tool, one workflow: Members have each picked one workflow that changed the way they do something, something concrete and immediately applicable.
Rotating speaker lineup: Fresh stories each time. The format stays the same; the content never repeats. You move around the room in small groups, spending time at each station, asking questions as you go.
Afterwards, we invite you to stay and connect with fellow members to share experiences, explore new ideas, or meet others navigating the same professional landscape. You are likely to leave with at least one practical insight you can apply the next day.
New: All Along
NCCA introduces All Along, a tool that helps you meet your best matches at the event. Instead of hoping you bump into the right person, you'll get your top matches to seek out, and each with a reason on why it's a good fit! All you do is share what you're looking for and what you can offer. Prior to the event, you'll receive 1-3 suggestions. You decide which ones to follow up on, and meet on your own terms.
Sign up here: https://all-along.com/register/ncca-ai. It takes only 3 minutes and there's no app to download or password to remember.
NCCA Member Tickets:
Your ticket includes complimentary drink, nibbles, and a chance to win a door prize! All kindly sponsored by Konica Minolta.
Regular Pricing - $35 (incl. GST)
Non NCCA Member Tickets:
Your ticket includes complimentary drink, nibbles, and a chance to win a door prize! All kindly sponsored by Konica Minolta.

Get Involved: Have you changed the way you work because of AI?
We're looking for 2–3 practitioners from the NCCA member base who would like to share one story about AI in their work. Not a polished product demo, just a real before-and-after moment that changed something.
Maybe it's a workflow that used to eat your week. A client report that now takes 20 minutes. A pattern in your data you'd never have found manually. Whatever it is, if it changed how you work, we would love to hear it and share it with the NCCA community!
We would love to hear from you if you have a story worth sharing. PLEASE EMAIL TO: fleur.dekker@ncca.com.au
