Euro Connect - Melbourne Networking Event
A relaxed evening of business networking bringing together the European business community in Melbourne — hosted by Network Europe, the Polish-Australian Chamber of Commerce, and Swiss festival Inc.

Networking Drinks
Join us for an evening of connection and community at MOKUM, the only Dutch café, bar & eatery in Australia. The NCCA Networking Drinks bring together Dutch-Australian professionals and friends of the community for a relaxed night of mingling, meaningful conversations, and new introductions.

World Cup: LIVE NL match screenings
The Dutch Club Melbourne “Abel Tasman”
will be hosting multiple events throughout the World Cup, including screenings of all NL matches, selected group stage games, and every game from the Round of 32 onwards.
What to expect Expect an electric matchday atmosphere filled with passionate football fans, great food, cold drinks, and plenty of Oranje spirit. Whether you’re cheering in orange or simply love the excitement of World Cup football, this is the perfect place to experience the game together.
The event includes a free burger, free pint of beer or free flow of barista made coffee or soft drinks.

How the evening runs
Peers, not promoters All speakers are drawn from within the NCCA and CA Australia communities. The insights shared come from professional peers navigating the same landscape, not from vendors with something to sell.
One tool, one workflow Five members have each picked one workflow that changed the way they do something, something concrete and immediately applicable.
Rotating speaker lineup Fresh stories each time. The format stays the same; the content never repeats. You move around the room in small groups, spending time at each station, asking questions as you go.
Then the room builds something together After the talks, two screens go live. The audience contributes the prompts. Everyone watches and participates while AI is doing real work in real time.
Afterwards, we invite you to stay and connect with fellow members to share experiences, explore new ideas, or meet others navigating the same professional landscape. You are likely to leave with at least one practical insight you can apply the next day.
Get Involved: Have you changed the way you work because of AI?
We're looking for 2–3 practitioners from the NCCA member base who would like to share one story about AI in their work. Not a polished product demo, just a real before-and-after moment that changed something.
Maybe it's a workflow that used to eat your week. A client report that now takes 20 minutes. A pattern in your data you'd never have found manually. Whatever it is, if it changed how you work, we would love to hear it and share it with the NCCA community!

Kings' Day Business Breakfast
Celebrate Kings Day with an inspiring Business Breakfast at KPMG Melbourne. Join the NCCA on Monday 27 April for a morning of networking, breakfast and a panel discussion with leading Dutch-Australian business professionals on innovation, sustainability and growth. Featuring Tim Ferraro (Land Life), Emmy Heikamp (Dutch Cargo Bike) and Paul Kanters (Vopak Victoria Energy Terminal), moderated by Dai Forterre (NBSO Australia).
Koningsnacht Party — Dutch Club Melbourne
Kick off King's Day weekend the Dutch way. The Dutch Club Melbourne hosts their annual Koningsnacht Party on the eve of Koningsdag, a night of orange, music, Dutch food and pure gezelligheid.
Expect a Dutch DJ, a buzzing dance floor, and classic Dutch snacks including kroketten, bitterballen and frikandellen. Your ticket includes your first drink (beer, wine or soft drink) on arrival.
This event is open to everyone: whether you're Dutch, have Dutch roots, or simply want to celebrate one of the Netherlands' best-loved national traditions right here in Melbourne.
Koningsdag Family Fun Day — Sunday 26 April, 10:30 am – 5:00 pm The celebration continues the following day with a free, family-friendly event at the same venue. Traditional Dutch kids' games, food, a flea market, stalls and entertainment throughout the day. No ticket required for Sunday.

In partnership with the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, the NCCA is pleased to present an event with Jeroen Weimar, Secretary of Victoria’s Department of Transport and Planning, for an afternoon briefing on the state’s major priorities for transport and infrastructure as he leads the implementation of the Government’s Strategic Plan 2024-2028. Drawing on his extensive experience in transport and infrastructure in both the UK and Australia, Secretary Weimar will provide insights into major transport projects and the integration of transport, land, and planning.
