We invite you to join us for the NCCA Nieuwjaarsborrel, our annual New Year’s Drinks for the Dutch-Australian business community, on Thursday 15 January at Karstens, our Royal Orange Member venue in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
This is our way of kicking off 2026 together, in true Dutch style, informal, social, and focused on good conversation. Expect laid-back drinks, a friendly crowd, and the chance to reconnect with familiar faces while welcoming new members into the NCCA community.
As Melbourne gears up for a summer packed with world-class sport, from the Australian Open and Big Bash Cricket to the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix, we are pleased to welcome Afke van de Wouw as our guest speaker.
Afke brings a unique perspective from the elite end of international sport. She has worked as a performance and sport psychology specialist with top athletes and teams, including within the Dutch football system at KNVB. Her work sits at the intersection of sport psychology, science, leadership, and high performance, helping individuals and teams perform under pressure, build resilience, and stay focused when it matters most. With Melbourne buzzing during its biggest sporting month, Afke’s insights feel perfectly timed and relevant well beyond the sporting arena.
The evening will be relaxed and conversational, with one drink and a selection of canapés included in your ticket, and plenty of time to connect with fellow Dutch-Australian professionals across industries.
