We’re looking for a new Board Member to join the NCCA

We are looking to welcome a new volunteer Board Member to join the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce Australia and become part of our enthusiastic and committed Board.

This is a volunteer role and a great opportunity to contribute to strengthening the relationship between the Netherlands and Australia, with a particular focus on Melbourne. Our Board is made up of professionals who volunteer their time alongside their full-time roles, all driven by a shared interest in supporting the Dutch–Australian business community.

As a Board Member, you will be responsible for two portfolios, such as Membership, Events, Marketing, or Partnerships. You will work closely with at least one other Board Member on each portfolio and play an active role in progressing the NCCA’s objectives within those areas. The role is hands-on and collaborative, with real scope to shape initiatives and see ideas come to life.

We do not have any formal skill set requirements. What matters most is having the time and energy to contribute. While Board Members lead their portfolios, we are supported by a part-time paid Business Manager who assists with day-to-day administration and organisation, allowing the Board to focus on strategy, growth, and community engagement.

If you are interested in joining the Board, or would simply like to learn more over a coffee, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to Eelco Leijding or Hans van Daatselaar
