CeBIT Australia celebrates its tenth anniversary this month with a promise to be the biggest and most extensive business technology event in Australasia in 2011. Introducing a number of new initiatives including an unsurpassed line up of keynote speakers, exhibitors, international delegations, a new partnership with the NSW Government, and the inaugural partnership country program, CeBIT will provide the most up-to-date information on the latest in business technology.
CeBIT Australia 2011 will attract over 30,000 business professionals. Visitors will have access to cutting edge technologies covering 19 business sectors and more than 100 global thought leaders through its CeBIT Global Conference program. These specific areas will cover a multitude of ‘hot’ topics including cloud computing, adoption and integration of enterprise solutions for tablet PC’s and smart phones, ecommerce, ehealth and unified communications, to name just four of the 19.
One of the most significant developments at CeBIT this year is the introduction of an official ‘Partner Country’, this year being Germany. The arrival of Germany’s Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle, and his high ranking diplomatic and business delegation, will bring many opportunities for further developed trade and bilateral relations between Germany and Australia. CeBIT Australia is the first CeBIT outside of Germany to introduce this initiative. Mr Guido Westerwelle will give his only public address in Australia at the CeBIT Australia Opening Ceremony and Innovation Nation Cocktail Function. Our Foreign Minister, Kevin Rudd, in turn will make his political speech.
See you at CeBIT Australia at the end of May!
