Dutch Orange Ball “ The Dutch Secret” - 17 October 2008

The second ‘NCCA Orange Ball’ will be held at Crown Casino on Friday the 17th October 2008. The theme this year is ‘The Dutch Secret’ which, among others, will manifest itself through innovative Dutch-style food prepared by Paul Verheul from the famous Kurhaus in The Hague. Special guests include Pim Verbeek, coach of the Socceroos, Mr Niek van Zutphen, Ambassador of the Netherlands, and his wife, and Russel Caplan, Chairman of Shell Australia. The event will be hosted by Trevor Marmalade, a Dutch–Australian entertainer who is best known from his involvement in the Footy Show. Part of the proceeds of the night will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (www.makeawish.org.au). Last but not least, the annual Jonas Kreveld Award will be awarded on the night to a deserving candidate with an outstanding track record in the Dutch community in Victoria.
